Claude says that there are seven basic chords that ever guitarist should know. Claude demonstrates these seven chords as follows; chord number one is Em (E minor) which consists of 6th string open, 2nd fret of the 5th string with 2nd finger, 2nd fret of the 4th string with 3rd finger and the rest of the strings open. The 2nd chord is E which consists of the playing Em and adding first finger to the first fret of the 3rd string. Chord number three is C and consists of the 3rd finger 3rd fret of the 5th string, 2nd finger 2nd fret of the 4th string, 3rd string open, first finger on the first fret of the 2nd string and first string open. The fourth chord is D which consists of the 4th string open, 2nd fret of the 3rd string with first finger, 3rd fret of the 2nd string with 3rd finger and 2nd fret of the first string with 2nd finger. Chord number five is G which consists of the 2nd finger on the 3rd fr et of the 6th string, first finger on the 2nd fret of the 5th string, 4th, 3rd and 2nd strings open and 3rd fret of the first string with 3rd finger. The sixth chord is Am (A minor) which consists of the open 5th string, 2nd finger on the 2nd fret of the 4th string, 3rd finger 2nd fret of the 3rd string first finger on the first fret of the 2nd string and open first string. And finally the 7th chord is A, which consists of open 5th string and baring your first finger across the 2nd fret of the 4th, 3rd and 2nd strings and open first string. Claude adds two more chords to this list as follows; E7, which is simply E major with the 3rd finger, removed making the 4th string open and Cadd9 which is simply played by playing a G major chord and moving the first and second fingers up one string each. World renown photographer Kenneth Garrett, nationally-recognized filmmaker Ron Maxwell, farmer Forrest Pritchard, and permaculture expert Michael Judd will be at the Journey Through Hallowed Ground Partnership headquarters, located at 15481 Second Street in the heart of Waterford, throughout the Waterford Fair to sign books, prints, movies, and other memorabilia.

Garrett will be on hand on Friday, October 3rd from 10:00-3:00 p.m. to sign copies of Journey Through Hallowed Ground: Birthplace of the American Ideal as well as prints of his photographs. He is an independent photographer specializing in archaeology, paleontology, and ancient cultures and has photographed archaeological subjects worldwide for National Geographic. Other magazine credits include Smithsonian, Air and Space, Archaeology, Fortune, Forbes, Time, Life, Audubon, and others. He has published his work in many books, including Egypt of the Pharaohs, Hidden Treasures of Ancient Egypt, Curse of the Pharaohs, The Human Side of Tutankhamun and the Golden Age of the Pharaohs. He has exhibited his work at the Smithsonian Museum and the University of Pennsylvania Museum of Archaeology & Anthropology, among other places. Judd and Pritchard will be on site signing copies of their books on Saturday, October 4th. Judd will be available from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Pritchard’s book, Gaining Ground, A Story of Farmers’ Markets, Local Food and Saving the Family Farm, is about a seventh-generation farmer’s inspiring journey to the heart of the sustainable farming community. Pritchard is a professional farmer, writer and public speaker. Holding degrees in English and Geology from William and Mary, Forrest studied under George Garrett with the University of Virgin ia’s MFA program. One of the first “grass finished” farms in the country, Smith Meadows has sold at leading farmers’ markets in Washington DC for fifteen years. Maxwell will be the guest of honor the final day of the fair, Sunday, October 5th. Maxwell's subsequent first theatrical film Little Darlings (Paramount, 1980) was a box-office hit that starred Tatum O'Neal and Kristy McNichol. His epic Civil War films Gettysburg (New Line Cinema, 1993) and Gods and Generals (Warners, 2003) have established him as the cinema's leading interpreter of that period in American history. Maxwell’s 2013 film Copperhead freshly extended that mural into the more intimate realm of small town American life, where the conflicts hundreds of miles from the battlefields are no less vigorous or heart-breaking. Maxwell is a member of the Writers Guild of America, the Directors Guild of America and the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. He is the recipient of an honorary Doctor of Letters degree from Concordia College.

The Waterford Fair is the oldest juried crafts fair in Virginia and four-time winner of the Loudoun Convention & Visitors Association (Visit Loudoun) Best Event of the Year. In addition to historic homes open for tour, 155 juried heritage craftspeople (many nationally known) provide hands-on demonstrations, entertainers provide continuous traditional music and dance, Colonial and Civil War-era militia encamp and demonstrate, and there are children's activities throughout the weekend.

Our brain is something most of us take for granted, yet its everyday feats are more amazing than the calculations of the fastest supercomputer. But what drives the brain? Who is its "operator"? And what is its destination?

The producers of 'CHANGE: The Brain and Divinity' purposefully set out to answer these questions with the making of this film, which will premier in Sedona at the Creative Life Center on Thursday, October 9, 2014, from 6:30-8:00pm. The film's executive producer and New York Times bestselling author, Ilchi Lee, will give a talk after the movie.

The film explores these inquiries about the brain, thought, and the quest for divinity with dramatic recreations, interviews with thought leaders, and animations in this thought-provoking sequel to 'CHANGE: The LifeParticle Effect'. It highlights the brain as the means to fulfilling human potential, both on a personal and global scale. It gives a fresh look at how the brain worksâ€"not its cells and circuits, but the intangible laws that let anyone master all of its functions, and to discover the vast potential for growth and change that lies within all of us.

Also, the movie talks about brain’s operating system. Just as the most vital software on a computer, the operating system, coordinates everything and runs systematic functions, our brain also has an “OS.” But the brain's operating system didn’t come with a manual. The concept of a brain operating system, or BOS, was the inspiration for most of Ilchi Lee's work and teachings. 'CHANGE: The Brain and Divinity' explores the concept of the human brain and BOS principles as the key to unlocking the true potential of humankind.

That potential, demonstrates the film, stems from our divine nature. As Ilchi Lee says of the documentary: "'CHANGE: The Brain and Divinity' is being produced so that people can realize their value, because there are many people who don't know what it is. It's ultimately the divinity and the soul. . . . I made this film so that it could serve as a catalyst for people to become enlightened to the fact that they absolutely do have divinity within them, in their brain."

'CHANGE: The Brain and Divinity' is the sequel to 'CHANGE: The LifeParticle Effect', produced 2013, which illustrated the relationship between consciousness and matter, and the roles individuals can play in transforming potential into reality. Special guests, investors, and World War II veterans will have the chance to see an exclusive red carpet preview screening of the World War II film, THE LAST RESCUE, and meet the Los Angeles cast on Saturday evening, October 4th at the Edmonds Center for the Arts.

The film’ s director/producer Eric Colley and writer/producer Hallie Shepherd (owners of Fireshoe Productions) are natives to the Puget Sound area and will host the red carpet event. One of the film’s executive producers, Brad Vancour, is also local to the area, residing in Woodinville. THE LAST RESCUE stars Cody Kasch (Desperate Housewives, Chain Letter) as Private Lewis, a young soldier unprepared for the horrors of war. His hesitation in battle results in the severe wounding of his commanding officer Captain Beckett (Brett Cullen, The Dark Knight Rises, Lost). Beckett’s life-threatening injury delays the field hospital evacuation and as a result, Lewis and Beckett are stranded behind enemy lines with Lieutenant Maxwell (Darren Keefe), Nurse Corps officer Vera Cornish (Hallie Shepherd) and her subordinate Nancy Bell (Elizabeth Rice, Mad Men). The group takes a high-ranking German officer (Tino Struckmann) as their prisoner and tries to orchestrate an escape.

Supporting roles offer unforgettable performances by Gilles Marini (Sex and the City, Dancing with the Stars) as a grieving French farmer, Johann Urb (the Resident Evil franchise) as a German military policeman, Ryan Merriman (Final Destination 3) as an American paratrooper, and Seattle native Tony Doupe (Safety Not Guaranteed) as a villainous SS commander.

One unique aspect of the story, which broadens its appeal to a wide range of audiences, is its portrayal of the women who served during World War II. While most historical war films only feature women in secondary roles away from the battlefield, THE LAST RESCUE puts them in danger alongside the men, which was the reality for many servicewomen during that time. Most notably, 67 Army nurses were held as POWs by the Japanese in World War II.

Filmed in November 2013 in rural Alabama, THE LAST RESCUE filmmakers teamed up with military reenactment groups from the southern states to use authentic, restored World War II military vehicles, weaponry, and props. The majority of the cast and crew were flown to the set from the Los Angeles and Seattle areas, with additional cast and crew coming out of Atlanta, Alabama, and surrounding areas.

The film has already been signed by Los Angeles-based Artist View Entertainment. “We are very excited to be involved with this tightly crafted war picture. The high-end production values, clever direction, and crisp cast performances make this a very unique, entertaining feature film,” says Artist View’s President Scott J. Jones.

Fireshoe Production’s next film will be shot in the Seattle/Tacoma area in 2015.
