DebitWay Reaffirms Commitment to Independent Game Developers by Offering Numerous New Payment Options

Montreal, Quebec (PRWEB) October 30, 2014

DebitWay has been quietly helping the social gaming industry for the better part of a decade. The Montreal, Quebec based alternative payment service provider known for providing both payment solutions and counsel to its merchant partners has redoubled its commitment to helping independent game developers.

“We have never understood why such intelligent, hard working and driven professionals (independent game developers) would give away vast percentages of their payment revenue to big box companies,” said Rod Tomita, Director of Business Development & Production, who added, “We understand that not everyone is aware of just how simple it is (with the proper guidance) to implement payment solutions that work.”

While it has become almost routine for independent game developers to sign on with big corporations in order to promote and sell, thereby dealing with all the payment logistics, their games, today’s reality is that indie game developers have all the tools needed to sell their own products readily available and easily accessible. Should an indie game developer opt to sell his or her video game on his or her website, DebitWay offers a wide array of payment methods:

Interac Online Payment â€" Direct debit transactions for Canadian consumers     Direct Debit Transaction â€" Global debit transactions for international consumers     Electronic Funds Transfer â€" ECHECK processing for Canadian consumers     Automated Clearing House â€" ECHECK processing for American consumers     Credit Cards â€" Major Credit Card Processing for all consumers

The provision of payment solutions notwithstanding, DebitWay has also created a “Loyalty Program” designed to be easily tailored to any merchant partner’s specific needs. The “Loyalty Program,” launched in 2013, was initially conceived for gaming merchant partners, once more reaffirming DebitWay’s dedication to helping those entrepreneurs in the Gaming industry. This loyalty program is now celebrating it's 1 year anniversary and DebitWay has added new payment options to go along with it.

With Christmas right around the corner, DebitWay is looking to help independent game developers challenge the current status quo. “If you can sell your game on your website, we can make sure your gamers can pay you for that game” emphatically urged Rod Tomita.

Headquartered in Montreal, Canada, since 2004, DebitWay continues to be one of the leading Payment Service Providers in the world, as well as a Certified Payment Provider of INTERAC® Online Payment (IOP) solution in Canada. DebitWay merchant partners continue to benefit of being able to accept bank payments in real-time instantly.

Death-Defying Stunts and Famous Cars Take Center Stage In Two New Original Reality Series on REELZ

Albuquerque, NM (PRWEB) October 31, 2014

REELZ today announced two new original reality series joining its fall lineup starting with death-defying stunts in "Extreme Escapes" premiering Saturday, November 29 followed by "Screen Machines" on Tuesday, December 2 where a pop-culture obsessed prop shop crew builds epic replicas of world-famous TV and movie vehicles.

In "Extreme Escapes" top escape masters challenge the laws of physics in unbelievable stunts performed all around the world including magician Brandy LaPlante attempting to be the first woman to complete the insane car drop escape before being crushed and magician Michael Turco’s attempt at a mobster-style challenge where he’s shackled, put in cement shoes and tossed to the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean. "Screen Machines" goes behind the scenes at Robert ‘Videobob’ Moseley’s unique prop shop where he and his creative crew of ragtag misfits build iconic vehicles from movies and television including the 1963 Cadillac convertible from "Scarface", the "Ghostbusters" Ecto 1, the KITT car from "Knight Rider" and even the "Jurassic Park" Jeep. If you’ve seen it on screen, Videobob will build it. Series descriptions and air times are below.

"Extreme Escapes" â€" Saturday, November 29 at 8pm ET/ 5pm PT
Each one-hour episode of "Extreme Escapes" brings the shock, wonder and danger of escapology to television with astonishing performances by artists including "America’s Got Talent" contestant Spencer Horsman, Masters of Illusion LIVE! performer Farrell Dillon, Las Vegas Laugh Factory’s headlining comic magician Murray Sawchuck and his counterpart Jan Rouven and Hungarian escape artist David Merlini. Other daring stunts attempted on "Extreme Escapes" include illusionist Jonathan Pendragon putting himself in the line of fire for a dangerous and often deadly featâ€"attempting to catch a speeding bullet. The series also features a precarious escape set in China where internationally acclaimed illusionist Franz Harary must break free from the chains binding him to railroad tracks in the face of a powerful locomotive. "Extreme Escapes" will air on REELZ Saturdays at 8pm ET/ 5pm PT.

"Screen Machines" â€" Tuesday, December 2 with two back-to-back episodes starting at 11pm ET/ 8pm PT.
Robert “Videobob” Moseley is the creative mastermind behind a unique prop shop in Dallas that creates iconic replica vehicles from TV shows and movies. His clients are often adult “fanboys” who still hold onto the big screen obsessions of their youth. But it’s not cheapâ€"a Delorean with Flux Capacitor will set you back a cool $ 60,000 just for starters. In each half-hour episode of "Screen Machines" Videobob and his crewâ€"a ragtag bunch of misfits including an aspiring illusionist, a brainy engineer and an exotic-dancer-turned-accountantâ€"take on a new project where they research, gather materials, build, refine and test their vehicles before unveiling them to clients. No detail is too minor, no client too demanding and no challenge is too great for Videobob and his crew. Among the epic replicas the team builds is a 1960 Cadillac ambulance transformed into the "Ghostbusters" Ecto 1, a revamped 1963 Cadillac convertible to mimic the iconic “creampuff” f rom "Scarface", the Knight Industries Two Thousand (KITT) from "Knight Rider" and a custom "Jurassic Park" style Jeep. "Screen Machines" will air Tuesdays at 11pm ET/ 8pm PT.

Tokio Hotel Opens Up About Their Return to Music on Maria Menounos’ Online Network, AfterBuzz TV

(PRWEB) October 30, 2014

Bill and Tom Kaulitz of Tokio Hotel sit down with AfterBuzz TV host, Jason Ikeler to talk about their return to the music industry. It’s been over five years since their last LP. Bill reveals that even though they were advised not to take time off, they followed their gut, “When we said we’re gonna take a break because we have no inspiration and we need to step away from it a little bit…they were like, ‘oh it’s career suicide you can’t do that now a-days’…we were just trying to not feel any pressure.” Tom chimes in saying, “we want to enjoy what we do, and we got to the point where we didn’t enjoy it as much anymore.”

During their time off they moved to Los Angeles. Bill opens up saying, “We came to LA to hide…for us it was ideal to come here…it worked out great because in the end it was just no fun for us in Europe anymore and we just couldn’t have like private life besides the career, we were just trying to find that.” Not only were they able to take time off, but they joke that, “we partied a lot..maybe too much.”

Tom and Bill also open up about the changes in the music industry since their last release, Tom says, “People are putting out records pretty much every day, nonstop …for us it doesn’t feel natural because at the same time we are writing a lot on our own and producing on our own, so it takes us a little longer than other artists.” Their return to the music industry was worth the wait their new album Kings of Suburbia debuted at #1 in 29 countries. Their lead single “Love Who Loves You Back” is climbing the chart at radio and Bill opened up about their edgy video, saying that it’s based on the movie Perfume. “I just wanted to make that with music, so I thought y’know it’s the right song to do it…it was a lot of fun…That’s what the song’s about, love has no boundaries or age or gender.” Although Tom jokes that, “It’s still weird for me to watch the video and watch my little brother making out with all of the people”
