American Made Movie Screenings to Celebrate Manufacturing Day Across America

Rockford, Illinois (PRWEB) September 29, 2014

Nearly 20 cities across America will offer a public screening of American Made Movie as part of their celebration of Manufacturing Day 2014. These screenings have been arranged by manufacturers, chambers of commerce, community colleges and MEP centers in the various cities.

“The focus of Manufacturing Day is about bringing attention to manufacturing and its contributions to our economy as well as dispelling the myths that exist about the sector among people who do not have first-hand knowledge”, said Christopher Harvey, producer on American Made Movie, the official movie partner of Manufacturing Day. “We are excited about the movie’s ability to have a positive impact on the next generation of Americans and look forward to continued partnership with these and other hosts moving forward. Our movie engages viewers in a dramatic and compelling way and we are pleased to see the way hosts are using the movie as a way to bridge manufacturing and education. We are hoping the showings will engage everyone in the participating communities from manufacturing employers and workers, to legislators, educational facilities, reporters and even consumers as being a part of the solution. By understanding where and how products are made in the United S tates, and supporting American manufacturers, individuals have contributed to a resurgence of American manufacturing. Manufacturing employment levels are steadily increasing, and there is hope once again that America will return to the position of manufacturing greatness it once held!”
