Lola’s Fruit Shop Sudoku Now Available in Nintendo eShop and DSi Shop

(PRWEB) June 23, 2012

Even 4-year-old children can play this Sudoku game since it is designed to be very easy to grasp and has spoken instructions. And it is still challenging enough for children even up to 8 years old, since it has tasks at three different difficulty levels.

In Lola’s Fruit Shop Sudoku, the player is invited to help Lola Panda to sort out the fruit. After a few successes, the player gets a well-earned award and at the end of the game the Fruit Shop is ready to open. Lola’s Fruit Shop Sudoku begins with an easy level for young children: they play a 3x3 fruit game with 3 different kinds of fruit, so children learn to play quickly without even knowing what Sudoku is. On the other hand, the harder level has a bigger 4 x 4 grid, so it provides fun and challenge even for children who are a little older.

“Like most Lola Panda games, Fruit Shop Sudoku has very clear instructions and pleasant voice guidance. We think that this is especially important in children’s games,” says BeiZ’s Creative Producer, Miska Fredman.

Lola’s Fruit Shop Sudoku Key Features:

Simple Sudoku games with fruit and numbers Friendly voice to guide kids through the game Easy-to-use child-friendly game design that even the youngest can use Several levels to choose from Increasing challenge as children’s skills improve

Lola’s Fruit Shop Sudoku is available in the Nintendo DSi Shop for Nintendo DSi and DSi XL™ devices for 200 Nintendo DSi Points™. The game is also available for Nintendo 3DS via the Nintendo eShop for $ 1.99. The game will be available in North America on the 26th of June and later in the rest of the world.

Sales of Sports Instruments Increase 6 Percent, NPD Group Reports

Port Washington, NY (PRWEB) March 31, 2015

The sports instruments* market hit the ground running in 2015, growing 6 percent in dollar sales and 2 percent in unit sales in the 12 months ending January 2015 (Feb’14-Jan’15), according to global information company The NPD Group. The category reached $ 382.5 million, compared to $ 359.9 million the previous year**.

In line with the trend that started in 2013, pods/fitness trackers more than doubled in dollars over the past year, from $ 27.2 million to $ 71.7 million. The newer kids on the block, solar power products, are performing well, with dollar sales that increased 9 percent through January, more than doubling in percentage growth from the year before (4 percent) and becoming an $ 8.7 million industry. While action video cameras, another class of instruments which has risen in popularity in recent years, also experienced growth (2 percent), its growth rate slowed considerably compared to the year before (38 percent).

“Fitness trackers have changed the way America moves. While they are appealing to active consumers, the mere act of owning one also provides greater incentive and motivation to those looking to get into shape,” said Matt Powell, sports industry analyst, The NPD Group. “These devices have added a new dimension to fitness, and as they become more sophisticated, measuring additional data, their popularity will continue to rise.”

GPS accessories grew 13 percent in dollar sales, though GPS systems have experienced declines for two consecutive years, as have compasses and wrist instruments/watches, the largest class of instruments based on dollar sales.

“Products that combine fitness tracking with social media will likely be the next must-have items in the sporting goods industry,” added Powell. “Their style and multipurpose capabilities will resonate with a broad range of consumers. Overall, it is an interesting and exciting time for the instruments industry.”

*Sports instruments include action video cameras, binoculars, calorie counters, compasses, GPS systems and accessories, MP3/music systems and accessories, pedometers, photo equipment accessories, pods/fitness trackers, solar power products, watches, and other wrist instruments

New Propane GasGenie Competitions Announced

(PRWEB) April 30, 2015

The Propane GasGenie claims to be the only propane gauge that actively warns the BBQ user in time so they can finish grilling without running out of gas. The company selling the product in the US (CEP) has regularly run competitions to help promote their product and on this occasion they are announcing two very different ways to win a free sample.

The first is a simple multiple choice sweepstake All the entrant has to do is select one of three choices and give their email address. Once they have entered the first time they can add to the number of their entries by clicking a Facebook or Twitter link. This will substantially increase their chance of being amongst the winners. There is even a useful hint on the sweepstake entry form to help them make the correct choice.

The second competition is a re-launch of the popular Hamburger Frisbee game that was developed by CEP to add a bit of fun to their website. In the game the player has to throw hamburgers, Frisbee style, on to a grill on the far side of the screen. For every burger that lands on the grill points are scored. There is even a dog that will occasionally wake up and trot over and eat any fallen burgers! Once the game is over the player can enter their score into a leader board. There is a prize for the highest score and also a random winner regardless of score.

Peter Frank from CEP says 'These competitions have been a very good way of getting the word out about our clever little product. Just as important we hope that the people who enter enjoy themselves and then tell their friends.'

About Creative Electronic Products Inc.
CEP was founded in 2013 to search worldwide for unique and useful products to bring to the US market. The Propane GasGenie is their first product. It is sold on Amazon and also to retailers and manufacturers reps throughout the US.

Sony PS Vita Hardware Sales in Japan Pick Up Following Release of Persona 4: The Golden Game

Sony PS Vita Hardware Sales in Japan Pick Up Following Release of Persona 4: The Golden Game

Sony PS Vita Hardware Sales in Japan Pick Up Following Release of Persona 4: The Golden Game

Phoenix, AZ (PRWEB) June 30, 2012

After several months languishing in the doldrums, sales of the PS Vita handheld games console in Japan have finally begun to pick up, thanks to the release of the highly anticipated game, Persona 4: The Golden, on the system.

iPSVitaGames.com, the leading online news and tips magazine for PS Vita gamers, revealed that over 130,000 copies of Persona 4: The Golden were sold last week, which is more than double the number of first week sales of the handheld console’s previous top-selling game, Gundam Seed: Battle Destiny.

With the release of Persona 4: The Golden, sales of the PS Vita itself have also seen a noticeable increase, with almost 35,000 units sold in the same week as the game was released, lending weight to the theory that there is nothing wrong with the PS Vita itself, only that a lack of top titles have prevented the console from taking off.

Dan Lim, editor of ipsvitagames.com, said that with the release of Persona 4: The Golden and other top titles to come in the months ahead, it was only a matter of time before the PS Vita demonstrated its true potential:

“There’s no doubt about it, the PS Vita is a top handheld games console. A number of critics have slammed the PS Vita and labeled it a dead duck â€" but we strongly disagree with that. The PS Vita is an exceptional platform for games like Persona 4: The Golden, as the first week sales have shown. And with the upcoming release of titles like Metal Gear Solid: HD Edition and Time Travelers to come next month, we’re expecting the PS Vita to mount a serious challenge to the dominance of the Nintendo 3DS.”

iPSVitaGames.com reported that the PS Vita is already making inroads into the Nintendo 3DS, with last week’s hardware sales figures of 34,459 nearing 50% of the total number of its rivals’ hardware sales â€" a huge milestone for the PS Vita.

Animal Crossing New Leaf

Windsor, UK (PRWEB UK) 21 June 2013

Animal Crossing: New Leaf, the game that’s already taken Japan by storm, selling more than 4 million copies in just over 6 months, launched in Europe for the Nintendo 3DS family of consoles. At the same time, the new Nintendo 3DS Image Share service becomes available in Europe, allowing players to easily share images from their game to Twitter, Facebook and Tumblr.

In Japan, where the game has been available since November 2012, it’s become a phenomenon on social media as well, with more than 193,000 fans eagerly following tweets from one of the game’s key characters: the town hall secretary Isabelle, who is always at hand to assist players in their new role as mayor. Japanese players have also been flexing their creative muscles with the myriad of customisation features possible in Animal Crossing: New Leaf, and many images of their homes, custom clothing designs and unique town planning can be found on social networks.

The captivating life simulation now on Nintendo’s latest handheld console gives players the freedom to do anything they please as the mayor of an idyllic town inhibited by a wide variety of animals. Build a dream home, design clothes or curate the local museum with collections ranging from fish, bugs, dinosaur fossils and classic art to anything gamers like to put on display! Animal Crossing: New Leaf takes place in real-time so players can experience different things as time passes; whilst living the life people always dreamed of, friendships develop and seasons change.

As new events unfold every day, Animal Crossing: New Leaf is perfectly suited to being downloaded directly from the Nintendo eShop, so the game is always on someone's console. In Japan, where around a quarter of all sales have been of the digital download variety, fans have embraced the convenience of always having their town at the ready on their Nintendo 3DS. Whether playing alone or visiting each other’s towns in local or online multiplayer, Animal Crossing: New Leaf makes it a breeze to connect with other players and share the experience.

Players can also take snapshots of their favourite moments by simply pressing the L Button and R Button together at nearly any point in the game: a funny quote from a favourite animal, the proudest interior decoration, a beautiful moonlit night or a proud accomplishment as mayor, it’s easy to fill up an album full of Animal Crossing memories.

Thanks to the Nintendo 3DS Image Share service, players now have a seamless way to share such memories on their Twitter, Facebook and Tumblr profiles too. Visiting this website on the Nintendo 3DS Internet Browser allows people to upload snaps and add comments directly to social network accounts without having to close the game*!

A Special Edition Animal Crossing: New Leaf Nintendo 3DS XL console with the game pre-installed is also launching today, in celebration of the arrival of a game that critics have been bestowing with glowing reviews:

The Telegraph, 5 out of 5 â€" “Unfailingly generous and constantly surprising, Nintendo’s charming, humane life sim is another 3DS delight...”

“... every time you open your 3DS to play New Leaf, you know you’re almost certain to experience something new or surprising.”

EDGE, 9 out of 10 â€" “a high watermark for a series that has never been far shy of excellent.”

Eurogamer, 9 out of 10 â€" “New Leaf's easily the best Animal Crossing since the first. It's another testament to open-ended fun, another reminder that play does not have to be funnelled towards conditions like victory and defeat.”

IGN, 9.6 out of 10 â€" “Animal Crossing: New Leaf isn't just a game it’s a whole new world full of lovable characters and insurmountable charm.”

“New Leaf is a truly magical game, one that gamers can easily expect to invest hundreds of hours in over the course of years. Anyone with access to a 3DS should absolutely give this game a try - just be prepared to kiss real life goodbye.”

Downshift to the good life in Animal Crossing: New Leaf, launching across Europe today at retail, as a digital download on Nintendo eShop as well as preinstalled on the Special Edition Animal Crossing: New Leaf Nintendo 3DS XL console.

Video Games Intelligence: Chis Petrovic Talks Cloud Gaming and Second Screens

San Francisco, CA (PRWEB) July 12, 2013

The cloud is a disruptive force in the business of games. Not only is it revolutionizing how gamers purchase and play games, but redefining how developers and publishers run their business.

The gaming community disagrees over what cloud means, but nearly all agree it is becoming increasingly important.

In a newly published whitepaper by Video Games Intelligence, Chris Petrovic, former head of Gamestop, says, "One of the challenges facing our industry is to settle on a definition of ‘cloud’â€" and then what it means for particular businesses."

The dream for cloud gaming is a 24/7 online, streaming service where players no longer need physical hardware to enjoy the games they love. Though this vision is still someway off, the cloud is finding new ways to displace traditional gaming norms.

For example, as player continue to adopt tablets at an alarming rate, developers are already integrating second screens to create pervasive, multi touch-point experiences that encourage players to invest, interact and play wherever they want.

Petrovic says, "Second screens obviously provide a wide variety of game-related solutions and functionality today â€" and that is only going to increase over time."

"Today, we’re seeing everything from the WiiU, to smartphones and tablets, to deliver everything from companion apps to stand-alone games."

With new technology comes new opportunity, and the boldest and most innovative developers are looking to use the cloud to create not just multi-platform games, but true cross-platform experiences.

The ability to innovate and harness the cloud to augment and subvert traditional game design will set the successful apart as we move into the new era of gaming.

The cloud gaming conundrum and game innovation is explored further by visionary Chris Petrovic, Former Head, GameStop in the full whitepaper produced by Video Games Intelligence.

Download the full, complimentary whitepaper here: http://bit.ly/1ap4dEY.

George Kiley, Chief Editor, Video Games Intelligence says, "This paper provides invaluable insight from two leading visionaries on how they see cloud gaming unfolding, new disruptive technologies, and where they believe the market is heading."

Lola’s Fruit Shop Sudoku now Available in Nintendo eShop and DSi Shop in Europe

(PRWEB) June 30, 2012

We think that this is especially important in children’s games” says BeiZ’s Creative Producer, Miska Fredman.

ProAudioVisual are Offering HDMI Cables for $ 5.95 Including Shipping to Anywhere in Australia

www.proaudiovisual.com.au

Perth, WA (PRWEB) March 07, 2013

ProAudioVisual is one of Australia’s leading online retailers of HDMI cables and home theatre devices and accessories. Many traditional retailers are trying to sell unsuspecting shoppers a HDMI cable for over $ 200. This is extremely overpriced and the main reason they are doing this is to make up for the small margins they are making on LCD televisions which are now very competitively priced.

ProAudioVisual provides online shoppers with the opportunity to save a lot of money on home theatre and audio visual accessories. ProAudioVisual offers a 60 day money back guarantee on all products as well as a lifetime warranty on all cables.

Although the price of HDMI cables from ProAudioVisual may seem low, you can be assured that all of the products offered are of the highest quality. A HDMI cable purchased from ProAudioVisual for $ 5.95 will give the exact same picture and sound quality as one bought from a major retailer for $ 200. ProAudioVisual is able to offer these cables for such a low price because they import all products direct from the manufacturer and sell them direct to the end user.

In addition to low prices, ProAudioVisual prides itself on maintaining the highest level of customer service. ProAudioVisual has an expert team of home theatre and audio visual enthusiasts who are ready to offer you support via free call, live chat or email.

The ProAudioVisual website also allows customers to leave feedback and comments on purchases they have made, so you can view a large number of customer testimonials before deciding to make a purchase.

ProAudioVisual is constantly praised for high quality products, low prices and fast shipping times, as well as a knowledgeable support staff who are always happy to help with general questions as well as technical support matters.
