Vuguru and Killer Content Partner With FilmBuff to release “Deep Powderâ€

Vuguru, the leading independent multi-platform studio, and Killer Content, parent company of Killer Films, announced today a new distribution deal with leading digital distributor FilmBuff. The partnership will bring “DEEP POWDER,†a powerful romantic drama directed by Mo Ogrodnik (“RIPEâ€), starring Haley Bennett (“THE EQUALIZERâ€) and Shiloh Fernandez (“WHITE BIRD IN A BLIZZARDâ€), to online viewers beginning September 23rd. The on demand release is the first for a Killer production.
Delving into issues of love, loss, hopes, and dreams, “DEEP POWDER,†asks the question how far one will go for love. Privileged and reckless boarding school senior, Natasha (Bennett), is tapped by her secret society to make its annual drug run to Ecuador. She in turn chooses Danny (Fernandez), a working-class local boy as her partner in crime. Upon arriving in Ecuador, a series of events transpire that will define the characters and their journey, leaving audiences reminiscing about their own tour-de-force flames.
FilmBuff will release the film in the United States on all leading on demand platforms including: iTunes, Amazon Instant Video, Google Play, Sony PlayStation, Vudu, XBOX Video, and cable movies on demand.
