Actor/Writer Bram Hoover Says Everyone Should Be Inspired by Real Life Event of High School Football Star Gone Blind on Maria Menounos' AfterBuzz TV Network

Actor Bram Hoover appeared on Maria Menounos' online broadcast network, AfterBuzz TV, with hosts Christina Kaplan, Stef Zeh, Thaddeus Massey and Kevin John for the Monday Night Football AfterShow to discuss both football and the release of his new movie that he co-wrote, 23 Blast, which comes out in theatres across the country on October 24. The movie is based on the incredible true story of a high school football star, Travis Freeman, who is suddenly stricken with total blindness.

Freeman and Hoover grew up together in a small town in Kentucky where Freeman was a local hero. When he became blind he felt there was nothing to live for until his football coach convinced him to continue his dream of playing football. In addition to co-writing the film, Hoover plays Freeman’s best friend, Jerry Baker.

When asked what he wants the fans to get out of the film, Hoover says, “To come home and be inspired and have faith again, have faith in life and whatever God you believe in... With the power of your will and the power of your mind you can do anything.”
