Halloween Comic Fest Is Back - Hosted by Beyond Comics on October 25

Once again, Beyond Comics in Frederick, MD will be hosting a Halloween Comic Fest. And, in addition to free comics, they are hosting an in store appearance by two horror film icons; movie directors Eduardo Sanchez and Daniel Boyd. They will be appearing from 11:00am to 2:00pm.
Eduardo is considered one of the most influential filmmakers in modern horror with his ground breaking The Blair Witch Project and the upcoming film Exists. He also co-wrote the comic book Blackbeard’s Legacy.
Daniel Boyd worked for the iconic horror company Troma Entertainment, writing and directing several motion pictures including the acclaimed Chillers. He too has worked in the comics’ field with his latest graphic novel Carbon.
And especially for the kids, one of the nation’s most recognized local haunted attractions, Markoff’s Haunted Forest, will be bringing in their make-up artists from 12noon to 2:00pm to do free make-up. Local comic artist Terry Flippo will be drawing seasonal creatures for the youngsters as well.
Free comics will be available until they run out.
