Mulitmillion Dollar Renovation Planned for Grapevine Mills, the Largest Outlet and Value Retail Destination in North Texas

Grapevine Mills, the largest outlet and value retail shopping destination in North Texas, has announced plans for a multimillion dollar renovation that will dramatically transform the property. The project, to be completed in 2015, will create a more inviting shopping environment that will enrich the experience for local families and visitors.

Building upon Grapevine Millsâ continued success as one of the top retail destinations in the market, the renovation will include neighborhood-by-neighborhood visual and structural improvements. Included will be mall entrance architectural facelifts, a reimagining of retail facades, sleek new flooring, contemporary energy efficient lighting and new soft seating groupings designed to maximize comfort.
Grapevine Mills will conduct the renovation in four phases over the next year in an effort designed for minimal disruption to shoppers and stores. The majority of the work will be performed while the center is closed.

The value-oriented shopping attraction recently welcomed a first-in-market location for Vera Bradley Outlet and Torrid and a Steve Madden store will open in the fall. Earlier this year, popular eatery Chiliâs was renovated and retailers such as The Luggage Factory, Buckle, Express Factory Store, Francescaâs, OâNeill and Adidas were added to its already unmatched collection of name brand retailers including Neiman Marcus Last Call, Saks Fifth Avenue OFF 5TH, Michael Kors, H&M and J.Crew.
The property also recently added tax-free shopping to its amenities offered for international guests. Located in Neighborhood 1, near the Grapevine Visitors Shuttle pick-up and drop-off location, the new service offers international shoppers on-the-spot refunds on sales taxes paid on purchases from registered retailers including Saks Fifth Avenue OFF 5TH, Neiman Marcus Last Call, Coach, G by Guess, Foot Locker, Oakley Vault and other popular stores.
On the family front, Grapevine Mills is home to SEA LIFE Grapevine Aquarium and LEGOLAND® Discovery Center Dallas/Fort Worth. Last month, LEGOLAND® Discovery Center welcomed Pirate Beach, a colorful water playground featuring more than 30 interactive gadgets pumping and spraying thousands of gallons of water. The 10,000-square-foot addition is the 12th permanent attraction in LEGOLAND Discovery Center Dallas/Fort Worth, and the second added in the last two years.
