Leading analytics consultancy, Pointmarc, recently unveiled its new corporate headquarters in downtown Bellevue.

Inspired by the company’s mission to connect people and data, the space features reclaimed wood community spaces, data visualization-themed conference rooms, and numerous unstructured huddle spaces for colleagues and clients to discuss projects or grab coffee.

The new headquarters is part of a growing movement of data-focused companies that call the greater Seattle area home.

“With so many companies that have great data cultures like Tableau, Amazon, Microsoft, and Nordstrom, along with a wealth of engineering talent, it’s natural that Seattle would become a leader in analytics services and measurement technologies,” said Pointmarc President Kevin Woo. “While we expect further growth in our client roster and teams in San Francisco, Boston, and New York, our analytics roots will always be in the greater Seattle area.”

Founded in 2006 by CEO Arsenio Valdez, Pointmarc has experienced double-digit growth each year and currently has 72 employees between its Bellevue, Portland, San Francisco, and Boston locations. This past year, Pointmarc was named to Inc. 5000’s Fastest Growing Companies and Seattle Business Magazine’s Best Places to Work in Washington.

“With so many powerful analytics tools on the market, we’ve found a resonance with companies that need to drive ROI from their analytics and data investments,” said Valdez. “Our services work together to evolve our clients’ businesses by connecting their data from disparate online/offline sources and activating its potential through analysis and optimization.”

Award-winning architectural firm JPC worked with Pointmarc to design the space and JE Cumming Corporation managed construction.

“The design concept for the new Pointmarc office embraces their spirit of ‘connectedness’, a place which encourages collaboration, technology and play,” said Dean Harris, Architect and Principal at JPC Architects. “The plan is organized around a series of strategic links, allowing a variety of opportunities for impromptu meetings, individual focus, paired with informal relaxed group gatherings.”

Located in the heart of Bellevue, Pointmarc’s new space is steps from shopping, restaurants, entertainment, fitness, and transit hubs.

“Walkability was a huge factor in us choosing downtown Bellevue,” said Valdez. “After being based in a suburban office park for the past seven years, we really wanted our team to be able to go out at lunch or after work without jumping in their car.”

As the Seattle area continues to rise as a hub of data and analytics technology, Pointmarc expects to expand again over the next six months.

“We’ve already signed the lease on additional space to accommodate our projected growth,” said Valdez.
