Galaxy Press attended the Stan Lee Comikaze Expo this past weekend where the entire line of Stories from the Golden Age books along with the other bestselling titles, “Battlefield Earth” and “Fear,” all written by L. Ron Hubbard were avidly received by fans and comic book heroes of all types.

Galaxy Press was a first time attendee at this show, now in its fourth year, but definitely plans to return again next year due to the speed with which the show is growingâ€"over 60,000 attending this yearâ€"and the constant flow of public at the booth to purchase books, including a fan dressed as “Deadpool,” a fictional character published by Marvel Comics.

L. Ron Hubbard began his writing career in 1934 with the publication of “The Green God” a mystery thriller. His writing skills rapidly grew, becoming a writing in all the popular genres of fiction. In addition to mystery, adventure and westerns, he excelled at science fiction and fantasy with his groundbreaking horror novel, “Fear” and perennial bestselling science fiction novel “Battlefield Earth.” (http://www.GalaxyPress.com)

In 2008, Galaxy Press embarked upon a six-year program to re-publish over 150 short stories and novelettes written by Mr. Hubbard in the 1930s and 1940s, in the form of an 80-volume book and full-cast “movie of the mind” audio drama series called “Stories from the Golden Age.” These stories span every genre from western and mystery to fantasy and science fiction and can be found by going to http://www.GoldenAgeStories.com or http://www.GalaxyPress.com.
