Sphere of Influence announces a new iPhone app â€" available to the US and Canadian markets for iPhone 4S and higher. LMK App (Let Me Know App) offers an exciting new way to invite friends to hang out.    

LMK App is a simple and fun way to invite people to get together. The app uses text messages to send invitations to friends who don’t have the app, so no one misses out on the fun. An invitation from LMK App gives the person a choice to answer either IN or OUT (no maybes). Don’t want to attend? It’s as easy as replying OUT. There’s no need to worry about making an excuse, because LMK App takes care of that. The app is designed for one purpose: to make it easy to organize events.

“The app really bridges the gap between sending group text messages to organize a time to meet up with people and more formal event planning platforms like Evite,” said Theresa Smith, SVP of the microProducts group at Sphere of Influence. “Ultimately we see LMK App as something that people can use every day from inviting friends to the movies to even the most ordinary activities, like figuring out who will be home for dinner.”

The Sphere of Influence microProduct team is developing the android version of LMK and plans to have it available for download later this month.

Sphere of Influence is a software company founded in 2001 that specializes in purpose-built software.
