The hospital is part of Baptist Health South Florida, the region’s largest faith-based, not-for-profit organization committed to medical excellence, and this year’s sponsor of the popular ‘Black Friday Balloon Drop’ at Southland Mall on November 28th. On that day, thousands of balloons filled with mall gift cards, movie passes, store coupons, even Miami HEAT tickets, will descend from the rafters in four separate locations inside the Mall at 8am.

In addition to the ‘Balloon Drop’, the hospital also sponsored Southland’s yearly Trick or Treating event during Halloween, where approximately 1,000 candy-filled goodie bags were distributed to children and their families. “We’re excited about this new partnership” said Maggie Anzardo, marketing director for Southland Mall. “Both, Homestead Hospital and Southland, recognize the importance of connecting with your community in meaningful and creative ways.”
