Villa del Palmar at the Islands of Loreto, B.C.S., Provides Personal Concierge, Rolls Out Pre-Check In Process
Islands of Loreto, Baja California Sur, Mexico (PRWEB) November 25, 2014
On the heels of a successful personal concierge program in which guests can book all activities and services for their vacation prior to their arrival, Villa del Palmar at the Islands of Loreto is launching a pre-check in process that allows travelers to be whisked up to their room as soon as they step foot inside the resort.
âWe feel that vacation time is too important to oneâs health, family and overall wellbeing to be spent waiting in line,â said Owen Perry, co-owner and president of Villa Group. âThese programs are meant to help guests make their vacation even more enjoyable at the paradise that is Villa del Palmar at the Islands of Loreto.â
The pre-arrival personal concierge program is meant to go above and beyond a typical resort concierge by doing all the legwork of vacation planning for guests. As soon as guests make a reservation at Villa del Palmar at the Islands of Loreto, they are assigned their own personal concierge.
The personal concierge calls guests to congratulate them on their upcoming vacation, learns their likes and dislikes, and assists in planning activities, such as spa services at the 39,000-square-foot Sabila Spa, dining reservations at the resortâs three restaurants, transportation to and from the airport, water activities such as SCUBA diving, sport fishing, island hopping tours, sunset boat rides, kayaking, and more, all based on guestsâ preferences.
This service allows guests to get their questions answered, receive recommendations, and plan the perfect trip in advance, which has also boosted guest satisfaction.
Building upon the success of the personal concierge, Villa del Palmar at the Islands of Loreto is planning to launch a pre-check in system early next year that will allow travelers to check in from the comfort of their own homes prior to their vacation.
As part of the process, once guests make a reservation, they receive a confirmation with a checklist of items necessary to check in, as they would when they reach the front desk. The resort will input this information into their system and provide a pre-check in code prior to their arrival.
Once guests arrive at the resort, a bellboy will have their keys (which are actually wristbands with waterproof smart chip technology) ready and waiting, so that travelers bypass the lobby and head directly to their suites.
âOur hope is that they will be relaxing by the pool, with a margarita in hand, within minutes of arriving,â said Owen Perry.
Travelers can take a short nonstop flight from LAX on Alaska Airlines to the Islands of Loreto, or from Calgary, Canada aboard WestJet, with a new nonstop service beginning on February 14, 2015.
