911 Truth Art Acquired By National September 11 Museum in NY

New York, NY (PRWEB) January 02, 2015

The first and only artifact to challenge the official narrative of 911 has been acquired by the National September 11 Museum at ground zero in New York. The piece, "Questions" was originally commissioned by the Village Voice to accompany an article titled "Fakes on a Plane", published in 2006.

The artist, Anthony Freda is an award-winning, established, American illustrator whose work has appeared in numerous publications including The New York Times, Time Magazine and Rolling Stone.

The art will be part of the permanent collection and also be loaned to museums around the world as part of a traveling exhibition. A short documentary by film maker John Massaria, titled "Behind Truth Art" documents the acquisition process and the museum's curators' interview with the artist.

The Museum assured Freda that there would be no "Truth" section in the museum and that his artwork is a "unique' acquisition. The assemblage depicts much of the evidence that those who question the veracity of the 911 Commission Report use to bolster their arguments. Freda was afforded the opportunity to make the case via explaining the elements in his art to the museum staff. He approached the museum with the challenge that a 911 museum that does not represent the Truth Movement in some way is incomplete, to say the least.

To their credit, they agreed with him and acquired his art. Freda's hope is that his illustration can be a starting point for a conversation about the controversial themes expressed in his work.

The exact time, manner and place that his artwork will be displayed has yet to be determined by the museum.
