"My DVD collection was growing large and taking up too much space, making my living room cluttered and disorganized," said an inventor from Indianapolis, Ind. "I thought that there had to be an alternative format for movies and TV shows that would occupy less space."

He developed the FLASH DRIVE VIDEO (FDV) PLAYER to play movies and TV shows in a different format than DVD. This new format does not take up as much room as DVD collections. This makes it easier to store a large library of movies and TV shows. The invention provides clear, crisp picture quality. It may become the new standard. Additionally, the unit can be connected to virtually any television.

The original design was submitted to the Indianapolis office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
