New Michigan Month-by-Month Gardening Book Takes Guesswork out of Gardening
Milwaukee, WI (PRWEB) December 23, 2014
Making gardening a bit easier for Michigan gardeners, nationally-recognized gardening expert Melinda Myers has authored the brand new Michigan Month-by-Month Gardening book (Cool Springs Press, $ 24.99) which provides gardeners with a clear cut guide on what to do each month to insure a beautiful landscape throughout the year.
The new book includes when-to and how-to information presented in a new, easier-to-understand format with lots of full-color photography and the most up-to-date information available. Complete with specific advice on growing flowers (both annuals and perennials), bulbs, grasses, roses, groundcovers, shrubs, trees, and vines, the book is one no garden lover will want to miss.
âI wanted to create a resource that would make it easy for Michigan gardeners by taking the monthly guesswork out of gardening,â explained Myers. âMy goal is always to help gardeners achieve greater results without a huge investment of time or frustration and Iâm confident it will do just that.â
In the winter, certain tasks are needed to plan for and improve the next growing season. And once things start growing in the spring and summer, gardeners will find advice on the best way to get the most beautiful flowers, the lushest lawns, and the healthiest trees. From planting to watering and fertilizing, and from maintenance to problem solving, Michigan Month-by-Month Gardening shows all levels of gardeners the best practices to grow satisfying and rewarding results all year long.                                                                   Â
âGardening is my passion and this book is one way for me to share what Iâve learned over the years,â said Myers. âIf I can help people beautify their landscapes and have fun along the journey, Iâve done my job.â
