A Company Launches a Kickstarter to Fund a Project that Will Advance the Way Children Learn
San Diego, CA (PRWEB) March 27, 2015
A Kickstarter campaign is currently underway that should be of interest to all parents and teachers of young children. The Kickstarter is working to fund Bright World eBooks, a game changer in the technology and education sectors. Created by 3D Learning Group, Bright World eBooks advances traditional learning avenues and provides children with something they have grown to learn and desire, technology. The apps, made for iPads, look like childrenâs video games or movies, complete with 3D animation, and yet are filled with language to boost their vocabularies. The stories are nonfiction, the environments immersive, and the games engaging.
The app focuses on expanding childrenâs vocabularies for one purpose: to heighten their potential for successful lives. It turns out that one of the obstacles to college attendance is a limited vocabulary. Children cannot read words they do not understand, and if they encounter too many words they do not understand, their reading comprehension will suffer. This domino effect can be summed up to chilling effect: A third graderâs reading comprehension is predictive of high school graduation and college attendance.
If parents want their children to thrive academically and to be able to pursue any career their hearts desire, childrenâs vocabularies need to be broad.
Join us as we make learning fun and make Bright World eBooks available to the general public. Kickstarter is like an American Idol competition in that people âvote,â with as little as $ 5, for businesses they would like to see come to fruition. We invite you to cast your vote and donate to this project.
