Orlando based video game and simulation company, GameSim, is developing and publishing a mobile version of the successful Kickstarter project by Gamelyn Games, Tiny Epic Kingdoms. In Tiny Epic Kingdoms, a turn-based fantasy game, each player starts with a faction and a small territory. Throughout the game, players collect resources, expand into other territories, battle each other, research magic, and work to build a great tower to protect their realms.

Gamelyn Games is an award-winning Arizona based game publisher. They began in 2012 and have since climbed the charts of Kickstarter fame. They are best known for their smash-hit series Tiny Epic, which took the Kickstarter world by surprise with their entry into the seriesâ€"Tiny Epic Kingdoms.

Gamelyn’s Kickstarter success and the continued popularity of the Tiny Epic series were big motivators for GameSim to approach Gamelyn about bringing the Tiny Epic Kingdoms board game to iOS devices. The free-to-play strategy game will provide single and multiplayer modes, with a 3D interface that brings the world of Tiny Epic Kindgoms to life.

“The development of Tiny Epic Kingdoms has been a great experience for us because it represents our first in-house published game title,” GameSim Executive Producer Stephen Eckman stated. “Being able to develop a game from start to finish demonstrates the growth of our studio.”

GameSim’s involvement in developing multiplayer applications with Electronic Arts and Zynga provides the necessary expertise to transition Tiny Epic Kingdoms from a board game to a mobile gaming experience. GameSim has previously worked on video game titles such as BioWare’s Mass Effect 3, Dragon Age: Inquisition, EA Sports’s Madden NFL, and Zynga’s NFL Showdown.

Tiny Epic Kingdoms is slated for release later this year.
