Communications Media, Inc. has been selected as a 2014 Healthiest Employer of Greater Philadelphia award recipient by the Philadelphia Business Journal.

This award is in recognition of CMI’s commitment to a healthy work environment and wellness initiatives, including team races, fitness offerings such as a Nintendo® WiiTM system at each office, and even healthy snack and beverage choices available in meetings. CMI encourages healthy and fit lifestyles with programs including a weight-loss program and a smoking cessation bonus.

This year CMI employees (along with sister agency Compas employees) coordinated teams for a number of endurance tests, including the extreme obstacle course Tough Mudder and the 10-mile Blue Cross Broad Street Run. These activities encouraged team morale as well as provided numerous health benefits from training and racing, and the company contributed to employee collections who were competing for charity.

This select group of the region’s healthiest companies will be recognized at an awards breakfast on Thursday, June 5th.
