Wicked Lovely Movie: Screenplay, Director, Casting Updates
Marr says, "Caroline Thompson is doing the screenplay and I love it...Mary Harron was attached to direct but is not anymore. There will be a new director and as soon as that new director is announced, everything's just going to fly. We have not committed one yet."

Marr then says that Vince Vaughn is producing and that she has seen concept art (Weta Workshop is working on the design and effects). Regarding casting, Marr says, "My absolute top choice for the lead role is interested in the role and is a fan of the books."

Marr wrote her upcoming children's book on her iPhone in the hospital
Marr wrote "Bunny Roo, I Love You" in the hospital after her son was born (through a birth mother) with Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome. She says "The different animals and the different sequences are metaphors for the symptoms that he was going through. He's trembling like a bunny. He's howling like a wolf. It's all about that so I can talk to him about his early experience."
