CAMBRIDGE, Ontario (PRWEB) November 17, 2014

The 2008 memoir “Not Just Another Queer: Memoir from the Third Sex” (published by AuthorHouse) is receiving a revitalized marketing campaign by author David R. Beecroft.

Looking back on his life, Beecroft describes an extremely promiscuous gay man who, from very early on, confused romance with sex. Despite a deep love for his partner of over two decades, Beecroft lived a deceitful and unbridled life â€" then and now.

“I wasted so much time and energy having indiscriminate sex with scores of men looking for a certain kind of satisfaction, a need for something none of those men could give me,” Beecroft says.

“Not Just Another Queer” offers Beecroft’s personal take on his life â€" it is a book about personal pain and its corollary, personal growth. Beecroft takes readers on his social and sexual adventures as he searches for answers to questions that mostly cannot be answered.

Beecroft hopes that his book helps make a statement for other men and women, hetero- and homosexual alike, to stand up and be counted in their multitudes as ordinary people who don’t want religious ideologies imposed on their lives. It is his desire that readers will gain empathy to other human beings and deny extremist, fanatical beliefs that express superiority for one person over another based on religion, race or sexual preference.
