New York, New York (PRWEB) November 13, 2014

After a successful premier of Harlem Holi-Pop on small business Saturday, in November 2013, Harris and Jones quickly concluded this would become an annual event, marking the genesis of a series of holiday inspired pop-ups to follow. Their Spring event Brooklyn Mommi-Pop, celebrated in New York’s “mommi capitol”, Brooklyn, however Harlem Holi-Pop brings the duo back to Harlem where the curated selection of clothing, accessories, beauty products, crafts and other covetable goods, turn up the volume on the retail landscape they find considerably underwhelming.

Harlem Holi-Pop will open it doors from 12pm â€" 8pm each day, where guests are invited to shop, sip and groove with festive beats, mulled ciders, and savory treats from the newest hotspot on Lenox Avenue, La Bodega 47. The infectious energy the event creates is becoming an anticipated tradition for those looking for alternatives conventional shopping of Black Friday Weekend.

This season Harris will be launching her organic Lip balm collection from her recently launched make-up line Fembot Cosmetics. Built on two decades of success working in the fashion and entertainment industries, Harris uses her experience as a life long artist/painter and native New Yorker, and has incorporated the colors of New York iconic beauty looks into her NY inspired Eye shadow palettes.

"By making resort work in New York City, it really punctuates my aesthetic that resort is less of a destination, but a Feeling”.
